| gallery 1 ~ b/w photography | i had to write an artist's statement once. hated it. sure, there's lots of meaning that could be read into much of my work, but when it comes right down to it, they're pretty much all things that simply caught my eye when i had a camera in my hand. i've always said i'm just a hack with a good eye. that's my story and i'm sticking to it.
that said, there are however a few themes that can be found throughout my work. nature coexisting with or overtaking the works of man is a particular favorite. i prefer to work in black and white, and most of the photos are taken outdoors. abstract shapes, odd juxtapositions and rich textures are commonly found. much of what you'll see here can be reproduced in material form, matted for framing, to be hung on your very own wall. use the contact page to inquire about pricing and availability. |
